You can use eBay gift cards to pay for all or part of your next purchase on the site. They also make a great gift if you’re unsure what someone would like. However, finding where to redeem them on eBay can be tricky.

To use an eBay gift card to pay for an item, enter the redemption code on the back of the card at checkout.
How to use eBay gift cards
So you’ve got yourself a gift card. Now you’re probably wondering how to use it? The first thing to do is to find the redemption code. Scratch off the security coating on the back of the plastic card to reveal your code. It’s easier using a coin. With digital cards, eBay will email the code to you.
When you’ve found an item you’d like to buy, you can use that code to apply the gift card towards your purchase. Once you are in the checkout phase of purchasing an item, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the redemption code in the Gift cards and coupons field.

If you return an item you bought with a gift card, the amount you used will be refunded to your account.
You cannot use an eBay gift card to buy bullion, coins, paper money, virtual currency, or coupons.
